THE FOX |
alepoú: fox. As Luke is the son of the god of business, communication, technology, trade, and theft, he has the uncanny ability to excel in all of these areas. Months ago, he had begun to fiddle around with any device he could get his hands on while at the Station — and from there on, whenever he was having a rather bored day, he'd fiddle some more in attempting to create his own tools, lock, and identifier. Being gifted magic upon his arrival in the Drabwurld, he has begun to try and master it in hopes of advancing his own means when it comes to technology. With the assistance of George and Martha, and his cows and foxes, he has begun to expand his own reach as he creates himself a repute for thieving, hacking into devices, and even navigating unknown territory! His thieving is available all year round and beyond. His navigation is available all year round and beyond. His hacking is available if you've got deep pockets. His communication tool will be available at the end of the year, around November-December. |
NETWORK COMMUNICATION TOOL |
THE ANACONDA — His master communication device he is hacking away at working on, it is of the highest quality, unhackable, untraceable, and incredibly unique. Rather than hacking into an already pre-made system like he has with the iPhones and iPods he found at the Station, this is a creation born from Luke's hands and George and Martha's talents. It has been crafted by the snakes, as well as Luke as he attempts to read how to build something made out of gold. It glows different colours within its centre to indicate danger. It also assists those who are lost, as it is akin to a compass as the colours literally play around with the hot/cold game. And it easily contacts Luke as pressing a particular button on its side immediately sends him a message and your coordinates. This will not be made available until December. (As pictured above in the gif, but with alterations once I think more.) In honour of George and Martha, he often refers to this as The Anaconda. NOT AVAILABLE YET BUT THIS IS AN END GOAL OF MINE AND I WILL FORGET ALL THIS. |
THE LUKE LOCK |
As he wishes to be pretentious, Luke has been fiddling around with the specifications of the lockets as he is capable of hacking into anything. Creating his own lock had only been a work in progress over his time in the Drabwurld. These are the people who have been given access to this lock — it's incredibly private, unhackable, and, if one attempts to hack into it, they'll find their locket will be filled with a recording of George and Martha singing songs of One Direction which will be impossible to erase. If you enjoy being unable to talk on your phone, then try hacking into this. When one uses this lock with Luke, he is able to trace your location, given that he is also the son of the god of travel. This lock is simply another means in keeping his friends and family safe — and ensuring that they're not in danger. People who have been given access: |
TRADING AND STEALING |
Communication isn't all Luke's about. Known for stealing the Dara and the moon, Luke has built himself a repute for stealing. He has utilised his gossiping cows to begin crafting himself a reputation to garner business. Anyone could have heard of him as the alepoú — and the manner by which he is reached is through said identifier. His reputation has him described as a thief — capable of stealing almost anything, he does so for various payments. (From gold to proper drabwurld money to goods and services and partnerships). Anything you wish for him to find, he will do so. There are no refunds. And he will steal for Unseelie and Seelie alike — as long as you pay. Please note that due to the anti-shardbearer sentiments, if you are Unseelie, or require him to enter Dorchadas, the price will be exceptionally higher. |
LOCKSMITHING |
Breaking into locks is one of Luke's skills — whether they're cursed or mundane, he has the means to get into one. He'll be creating his own locks throughout the timeskip and thereafter, offering his own services as he fiddles around to get the best quality of work. He will also happily unlock locks. |
PAYMENT SCHEME |
Unfortunately, unless you're a friend, these services are not free. Luke's payment scheme isn't exactly headache-inducing. The more dangerous and risk of loss of life there is, the higher the price it'll be. For smaller jobs, such as unlocking a mundane lock that has very little curses on it, or even changing an identifier on a locket, he'll accept payment from money to traded goods. If you want him to thieve something so grand like a golden egg, it's going to be costly. Depending on what the task is and what you have to offer will have an affect as to whether or not Luke negotiates. Just for some ideas, here are some things Luke will accept as payment: This isn't set in stone. Anything your character wants to give him as payment, try him. But he runs a hard bargain. There are no refunds. This is open for Unseelie and Seelie alike. Please be aware if you screw him over, he'll steal the item back. |
CUSTOMERS |
Here's a list of people he has provided his services to. If you're interested, you can either OOCly request here or ICly hit up his inbox or toss up a starter on his timeskip page under the appropriate month (we can handwave any initial meetings via locket if you'd prefer face-to-face interaction) and we can go from there. Please be aware I'd like to thread out any handovers of things he has made, stolen, or done for your character! (I'd prefer to keep it in my timeskip for continuity's sake wrt what he's done. I forget things.) Any questions, feel free to PM this journal or private message |
